West Ham United will be aiming to bounce back from their recent defeats as they face Everton at the London Stadium on Sunday. Despite a strong start to the season, West Ham suffered a heavy 4-1 loss to Aston Villa last weekend. Additionally, they experienced their first European defeat since May 2022 with a 2-1 loss to Olympiacos on Thursday.
The Irons are the favourites at 11/10 with Betfred while Everton are 9/4 to pick up a win at the London Stadium and a draw is 13/5. Returning to their home ground this weekend, manager David Moyes will be expecting a strong response from his team against his former club, Everton.
West Ham will rely on their key players such as Michail Antonio, Pablo Fornals, and Declan Rice to lead the charge and deliver a strong performance. Antonio has been in excellent form this season, scoring goals and providing assists for his teammates. Fornals has also been influential in midfield, creating chances and contributing to the team's attacking play. Rice, as the team's captain, will look to provide stability and leadership in midfield.
Everton will be hoping for a better defensive display after conceding two goals against Liverpool. They possess talented attacking players such as Richarlison and Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who have the ability to trouble West Ham's defence. Manager Sean Dyche will be looking for a more clinical performance from his team in front of goal.
