Welcome to football.london’s live coverage of today’s Premier League clash between West Ham and Arsenal. Eight games remain for Arsenal as they chase down a league title, while West Ham United have an additional fixture as they look to grab as many points as they can to help stave off relegation.
Mikel Arteta’s side will be the more rested of the pair having had a week of recovery since the 2-2 draw at Anfield last weekend. Meanwhile, West Ham have only recently returned from their European travels having drawn 1-1 in Belgium against Gent.
Arsenal haven’t lost a match with the Hammers since 2019, winning six of the last seven meetings. The last time the pair faced one another was on Boxing Day, with the Gunners having to come from a goal down to turnaround a 3-1 scoreline.
Gabriel Jesus was absent that day but has now returned and has scored three goals in his last two matches. Meanwhile, West Ham will continue to be without Gianluca Scamacca, who is expected to undergo surgery.
David Moyes did make six changes from the team that beat Fulham in his selection in Belgium with this game seemingly on his mind. Meanwhile, it would be unlikely to expect much change at all from Mikel Arteta.
Kaya Kaynak, Jonty Colman and Tom Canton are all at the London Stadium to bring the build-up, coverage and reaction to today’s game.

Arsenal player ratings
Don't want to go in on him after the season he's had but a tough day at the office for Saka. Partey and Holding not at their best either. Ray of light was the displays of Odegaard and Martinelli.
Full time - West Ham 2-2 Arsenal
A huge result for the home side in their bid to stay up. Meanwhile, it is a humungous blow to Arsenal's title hopes with the league completely in Manchester City's hands.
Free-kick - Arsenal
Kehrer has brought down Odegaard. Good placement this to the right of the 'D' about 35 yards out.
Wide - Saka
Reiss Nelson's cross finds Saka but it is too high for the forward and it goes wide.
Arsenal substitutions
Kieran Tierney and Gabriel Martinelli are off.
Fabio Vieira and Reiss Nelson are on.
Post, bar, something
Antonio at the back post has missed a great chance. Benrahma's cross finds Antonio but his header hits the corner of the goal.
Close - Arsenal
Trossard tries to find Martinelli running through but just overhits the pass.
Corner - West Ham
Big collision between Ramsdale and Bowen. The Hammers forward is offside and so nothing doing but it was brave from both players.
More needed from Arsenal
If the Gunners want to win the title you feel they can't afford to drop points here.
Arsenal dominating the ball
Constant Arsenal pressure but not amounting to much at the moment. Trying short passes in the wide left area but cannot seem to find a way through the Hammers defence.
Shot - Saka
Arsenal break with Saka but his sprint upfield ultimately ends in a tame shot at Fabianski.
Arsenal substitutions
Gabriel Jesus and Thomas Partey are off.
Leandro Trossard and Jorginho are coming on.
Corner - Arsenal
Arsenal now pushing for a third. Martinelli's cross can't find a teammate and Saka's cross is headed out.
West Ham pour forwards
The Hammers want a third and Bowen's cross fires past Ramsdale but there's no one at the back post.
Goal! West Ham 2-2 Arsenal (Bowen)
How fortunes change. West Ham go up the other end, win a throw-in and Bowen is there to fire past Ramsdale.
MISSED! Saka has blazed it wide!
Wow no one was expecting that. The England international has missed.
Penalty - Arsenal
Antonio has handled in the box. Penalty Arsenal.
Martinelli's shot hits the forward's outstretched arm. Saka to take.
Free-kick - Arsenal
Gabriel Jesus wins a set piece in a dangerous position. Too far outside the box to the left for a shot you'd think but certainly a crossing opportunity.
Corner - West Ham
Holding heads wide Coufal's cross.
Another to follow as Holding again blocks.
Arsenal eventually clear and the next phase of play ends as Tierney is fouled.
