The final two weeks of the summer transfer window are now here. Active in the market so far this summer but still having plenty of work to do, Daniel Levy and Tottenham need to be very busy over the next fortnight as they look to build Ange Postecoglou's dream squad before 11pm on Friday, September 1.

As important as it is that the Australian's squad is strengthened with a couple more signings, Tottenham need to cut down on the current numbers as Postecoglou unfortunately has a bloated squad to work with at present. Tending to be very busy at the end of the transfer window in previous years, Spurs could possibly be in for a repeat with so much still to tick off on their to-do list.

So what exactly would constitute a dream end to the summer transfer window for Postecoglou and Tottenham? football.london takes a look.

Incomings

Tottenham have managed to complete a number of signings so far this summer but more has to be done ahead of the transfer deadline. Following Harry Kane's exit to Bayern Munich, Spurs need to add to their attack and ensure that the goals are there now that the England captain has headed to Bavaria.

Gift Orban is a player Tottenham fans are desperate to see move to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium following his goalscoring heroics for Gent. Valued at £17million by Transfermarkt, the Belgian club are believed to want around £25.8million for the hotshot after his stunning run of form in front of goal following his switch from Stabaek.

A player who knows where the back of the net is and someone who could flourish in Postecoglou's team, the 21-year-old could be quite the signing if he can replicate his stunning form in the Premier League. Another position the Lilywhites need to address is centre-back.

Having added to their options with Ashley Phillips and Micky van de Ven joining the club last week, Postecoglou stills require another centre-back as he bids to oversee a drastic change in defence. Torino ace Perr Schuurs has been linked with a move to north London in recent weeks and he would be another top addition for the club if they can pull it off.

Right-footed but capable of playing in both centre-back berths, Schuurs, who has also been linked with Liverpool, is valued at £21m by Transfermarkt and is another for the future given he is only 23 years of age. If not Schuurs, Fulham's Tosin Adarabioyo would be a good option due to his qualities on the ball and experience in the Premier League.

Spurs may also require a new central midfielder ahead of the deadline depending on what exactly happens with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. The Dane has been heavily tipped to sign for Atletico Madrid and the final two weeks of the transfer window could maybe bring about a transfer agreement between both parties.

Conor Gallagher is a player Tottenham hold an interest in and the England international has all the attributes Postecoglou looks for in a midfielder. However, agreeing on a deal with Chelsea could prove to be the sticking point as the clubs do not tend to deal with each other.

Chelsea's recent dealings in midfield could push Gallagher towards the exit, though, and that may open up the door for a move across the capital. If Hojbjerg is to leave for Atleti, the Chelsea ace would be a fine replacement.

Outgoings

Tottenham have really struggled to move players on this window, with Kane, Joe Rodon and Harry Winks the only players to head elsewhere. Spurs need to find a way of securing moves for a host of players or else there is the real possibility that some will stay and as a result be left out of Postecoglou's 25-man squad for the season.

Hugo Lloris looks a certainty to leave with a move to Lazio a real possibility, while a deal with Real Sociedad could be in the offing for Sergio Reguilon. As Spurs struggled to sell him permanently last summer when he was not in Antonio Conte's thinking, the Lilywhites ideally don't want another loan deal for the player or else they will find themselves in the exact same predicament in 12 months' time.

Sticking with the defenders at the club, Japhet Tanganga needs a change and will hopefully get the transfer that can kickstart his career once again following his injury woes in recent campaigns. The former England Under-21 international could then be joined by one of Eric Dier or Davinson Sanchez in exiting the club providing that Spurs can strike a deal for Schuurs.

As Sanchez is more suited to Postecoglou's system and appears to be above Dier in Postecoglou's defensive pecking order at present, the England international could be the one to move on. The final two weeks of the window will hopefully see Djed Spence get another move as he just isn't going to get the game time he wants with Emerson Royal and Pedro Porro ahead of him.

In midfield, Tottenham need to find a way of parting with Tanguy Ndombele on a permanent basis. A player who doesn't exactly have clubs queuing up for his services after underwhelming loan spells with Lyon and Napoli, Tottenham are really going to struggle to bring in a decent fee for the Frenchman.

They may just have to agree to a cut-price deal in order to get him off the books for good or else the same old issue will rear its head once again in January or next summer. One player who could bring in a decent sum of money for Tottenham is Hojbjerg.

Wanted by Atletico Madrid, a move could be best for both parties as the Dane's football could be severely limited if he remains in the capital as other players are currently ahead of him when it comes to midfield. Harvey White, who is now in the final year of his Tottenham contract, will be hoping he gets a move before the window slams shut so that he can play regularly as it doesn't look like it is going to happen for him at Spurs.

Tottenham then need to ensure that their youngsters get the best possible loan moves to enhance their game. Troy Parrott needs a very good year on the goal front if he is to make his name for Tottenham in the not too distant future, while Dane Scarlett requires a continuous run of games after his minutes dried up at Portsmouth in the second half of last season following a change of management.

If Tottenham can strike the perfect deal for Alfie Devine, the attacking midfield ace could flourish and show why he is rated so highly at the club. Providing he does that, the ex-Wigan Athletic youngster could come into Postecoglou's plans for the following campaign.
