Transfer deadline day is here. We are now in the last few hours of the summer transfer window and it promises to be a very interesting day in north London.
Rather quiet on deadline day 12 months ago with youngster Marcel Lavinier the only player to depart, it looks set to be a different story altogether this time around. Active in the transfer market this summer but struggling in terms of outgoings with a number of unwanted players still at the club, Daniel Levy has plenty on his to-do list prior to this evening's 11pm deadline.
So what exactly do Tottenham need to finalise before the window closes for business until the turn of the year? football.london takes a look at the incomings and outgoings below.
Incomings
The main objective for Tottenham on deadline day will be to add to their attack before 11pm. Having allowed Dane Scarlett to leave on loan on Thursday to join up with Ipswich Town, the decision to green light a loan deal for the highly-rated striker does very much hint at a new attacker coming into the club.
Nottingham Forest's Brennan Johnson is Ange Postecoglou's first-choice attacking target ahead of deadline day and Spurs now have limited time remaining to wrap up a deal for the Wales international. Believed to be valued around the £50million mark by his club, the 22-year-old is going to cost a considerable sum and the Lilywhites cannot afford for any late hitches as they need to ensure a new attacker signs on before the window shuts for business.
Elsewhere, Tottenham could ideally do with striking a deal for a new centre-back on deadline day. Addressing the area in the summer transfer window so far with Micky van de Ven and Ashley Phillips joining the club, Spurs require more cover there, especially as Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga and Davinson Sanchez have all been linked with moves away.

A new midfielder could also be potentially an option for the club, although that will perhaps all rest on what the day has in store for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Linked with a switch to Atletico Madrid all summer and now Fulham, a late move would leave the Lilywhites needing to strengthen in the middle of the park.
If that is the case, Spurs could make a late attempt to seal a deal for Chelsea ace Conor Gallagher. As reported by football.london in June, the England international is very much a player the club are interested in but deals between the London rivals are extremely few and far between.
Outgoings
Things have already started to pick up in terms of outgoings ahead of deadline day. Following Scarlett's loan move to Ipswich Town on Thursday, Sergio Reguilon could be the next one out of the door with a loan move to Manchester United looking set to be finalised.
Tottenham have given the left-back permission to travel for a medical ahead of a loan switch to Old Trafford. With United having an injury crisis at left-back at present, Reguilon should get regular game time under his belt for the time being after his own injury woes last season in his time with Atletico Madrid.
Another defender who is set to seal a move over the next few hours is Japhet Tanganga. Tottenham and German side Augsburg have come to an agreement over a loan move that includes an option to buy for the former England Under-21 international as he looks to play regularly.
Dier's time at Tottenham could also come to an end before the day is out as he is not in Postecoglou's plans if his squad selection in the past four games is anything to go by. As the centre-back is out of contract at the end of the season, Spurs can only really afford to sell him permanently rather than finding a loan move for the England international.
Sanchez also continues to be linked with a move away from the club due to a lack of regular minutes in N17. One deal Tottenham will be looking to finalise on deadline day is a move for Hugo Lloris.
Admitting almost three months ago that he would like to depart Tottenham for a new challenge elsewhere, the World Cup winner still remains at the club and Spurs ideally need to find a resolution very quickly due to the fact he is not in their plans and on high wages. Fellow countryman Tanguy Ndombele needs a move for the sake of his career as he's another not in Postecoglou's thinking going forward.
A return to Italy after his season with Napoli could be on the cards, with Inter Milan and Genoa linked with him over the past few days. Tottenham, in an ideal world, need a permanent transfer but a loan looks most likely due to his struggle for form over the past couple of seasons.
Deadline day could also see Harvey White's time at Tottenham come to an end as he needs a permanent exit for the sake of his career due to the wealth of midfield options ahead of him in N17. The remaining few hours of the transfer window may bring about another loan move for Bryan Gil, who will be far down the pecking order if an agreement for Johnson can be sought.
Spending time on loan with Valencia and Sevilla back in his home country in each of the past two seasons, a return to Spain looks most likely if he is given the green light to depart once again.
