Time is starting to run out for Tottenham Hotspur in the transfer window as they look to conclude their summer business. Busy in terms of incomings so far but less so when it's come to outgoings, Daniel Levy and the club have an awful lot still to sort out before the clock strikes 11pm on Friday evening.
Tending to be very busy in the final few hours of transfer windows in years gone by, it appears that the Lilywhites will be set for a repeat with now less than 30 hours to go until the window closes until New Year. So what exactly are the transfer priorities for Levy and Tottenham over the coming hours? football.london takes a look below.
Sign Johnson
Needing to bolster their forward options following Harry Kane's transfer exit to Bayern Munich, Nottingham Forest's Brennan Johnson could be the man to help Spurs do just that. Postecoglou's No.1 choice when it comes to adding to his frontline, Tottenham need to strike an agreement with the East Midlands club sharpish.
Believed to be valued around the £50million mark by his club, it is going to take a lot of money for Tottenham to prise him away from the City Ground, especially at such a late stage in the transfer window. The Lilywhites cannot let this deal drag on and on and then ultimately miss out on the Wales international.
Given how vital it is to bring in another attacker before the transfer deadline, Tottenham must get this deal over the line as quickly as possible.

Another area Tottenham ideally need to address before 11pm on Friday is centre-back. Micky van de Ven has come in and performed very well since his move from Wolfsburg but it's clear to see that Spurs need further cover in that area of the pitch.
Although Tottenham have a number of options at centre-back as things stand, there could be a lot of movement come deadline day with the futures of Eric Dier, Japhet Tanganga and Davinson Sanchez up in the air. A move to the Bundesliga could be on the cards for Tanganga, with the club in discussions with Augsburg over a possible deal for the former England Under-21 international.
As well as potentially welcoming a new centre-back in through the door, a new midfielder could also be an option but that may all depend on what happens with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg. Linked with a summer switch to Atletico Madrid for quite some time, an agreement with the Spanish club has yet to come to fruition and that leaves a big question mark over what exactly will happen with the Dane, who has also been mentioned in regards to a move to Man Utd over the past week.
If he is to head to the Spanish capital, Spurs could make a late attempt to seal a deal for Chelsea ace Conor Gallagher. A player that the club are interested in, as reported by football.london at the start of June, the England international could be a huge hit under Postecoglou due to his attributes but deals between the London rivals are extremely few and far between.
Move on unwanted players
As important as it is that Spurs manage to wrap up a deal for Johnson, it is crucial that they move on a number of the squad. The current numbers are bloated to say the least and the club are in a position where they need to part with players in order to ensure that they can name a 25-man Premier League squad and not leave anyone out in the cold.
Admitting almost three months ago that he would like to depart Tottenham for a new challenge elsewhere, Hugo Lloris still remains at the club. Spurs need to find a resolution ASAP as the player will be one of the highest earners at the club and they need to get his wages off the bill if he is not playing.
A deadline day exit looks set to come to fruition for Sergio Reguilon, who has been given permission by the club to travel to Manchester for a medical ahead of a loan move to Manchester United. Mentioned in regards to a switch to Old Trafford earlier in the week due to the Red Devils' left-back issues, the Spaniard is now on course to sign on the dotted line following previous talk of Chelsea's Marc Cucurella joining them.
As mentioned above, Tanganga, Dier and Sanchez could all be potential exits, as could Hojbjerg if Levy and Tottenham receive a suitable offer. Fellow midfielder Tanguy Ndombele needs to move on for the sake of his career as he is clearly not in Postecoglou's plans going forward.
Linked with a return to Italy after his season with Napoli in 2022/23, Tottenham, in an ideal world, need a permanent transfer deal but a loan looks most likely as clubs aren't queuing up to sign him permanently despite his undoubted qualities after his woes over the past couple of seasons. Deadline day could also see Harvey White's time at Tottenham come to an end as he needs a permanent exit for the sake of his career due to the wealth of midfield options ahead of him in N17.
Finally, the remaining few hours of the transfer window may bring about another loan move for Bryan Gil. Now approaching the end of his recovery following a groin operation at the beginning of the month, the Spaniard's chances of first-team football are going to be few and far between if Johnson joins from Nottingham Forest.
