Tottenham will look to regroup during the international break having suffered back-to-back defeats to rivals Chelsea and Wolves. Ange Postecoglou's side have been hampered by injuries to key players and could see the next week bring even more.

Captain Son Heung-min sparked major concern among supporters after he was hacked down in South Korea's 5-0 win over Singapore. The star was the third in a list of five different goalscorers but was almost forced off the pitch with an issue, while Spurs goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario was forced to return from Italy's senior team camp to England.

Elsewhere, Yves Bissouma has discussed how playing under Ange Postecoglou has differed so far to playing under Antonio Conte last season. Here's your Tottenham morning headlines on Friday, November 17.

Son Heung-min's injury update

Son Heung-min says he is "fine" after an injury worry sparked concern among Tottenham supporters as the South Korean star put in a goalscoring performance for his country.

South Korea overcame Singapore 5-0 at the Seoul World Cup Stadium in a World Cup qualifying match with the Spurs captain scoring the third goal of the night with a trademark curling finish, cutting inside and sending a left-footed shot into the top left corner of the net. However, on a chilly evening in Seoul, Son also went down in the second half and looked to be in some discomfort while getting treatment and limped to the side of the pitch, holding his right ankle.

The 31-year-old got back on the pitch though and played the full 90 minutes and after the game jogged around the turf waving at the 64,381 fans inside the stadium.

Yves Bissouma opens up on Postecoglou differences with Conte

Yves Bissouma has opened up on his special words from Ange Postecoglou, his differences with Antonio Conte and his relationship with former Tottenham man Chris Hughton.

The Mali international has been in fine form this season, aside from a red card at Luton for two bookings and the fact that he will also miss Spurs ' next game against Aston Villa after reaching five yellow cards. Overall though, Bissouma has been a dominant, key figure in Postecoglou 's team and the difference between him this season and last has been like night and day and he puts that down mostly to the arrival of the Australian.

Bissouma's first season at Tottenham after his £30m move from Brighton was a tough one. Conte signed him but soon stated publicly that the midfielder had to improve defensively and was struggling to take on his tactics. The player could not break into the Italian's team on a regular basis and then suffered a stress fracture to his left ankle halfway through the season that required surgery.

Tottenham dealt blow as Italy replace Guglielmo Vicario

Tottenham and Ange Postecoglou's problems in the treatment room are continuing to stack up over the international break after it was confirmed that the Italian national team was forced to make a late call-up to replace goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

The Spurs shot-stopper is yet to make his debut for the Azzurri but was handed a spot in the squad by manager Luciano Spalletti after his fantastic start to life under Postecoglou. His skills were nowhere better highlighted than in the 4-1 defeat to London rivals Chelsea where, despite conceding a hattrick to Nicolas Jackson, he was commended for his incredible display after his side went down to nine men.

Vicario's ability to rush out of his box and sweep balls away were vital to keeping the score as low as it got as he kept his side in the game for as long as he could, allowing his remaining defenders and midfield to frustrate Mauricio Pochettino's attackers for almost a full 30 minutes. Afterwards, he was clapped off the pitch by the home support in a sign that cemented him as the side's No.1.
