Tottenham are not finished in the summer transfer window yet, not by a long shot. Ange Postecoglou has welcomed James Maddison, Manor Solomon and Guglielmo Vicario.

Spurs still remain in the market for a defender - or two - to improve what was a shocking defensive display last season as they conceded 63 Premier League goals.

Tottenham supporters would say that is the most pressing issue in the transfer market, and Postecoglou may well agree given Spurs' 3-2 defeat by West Ham in their opening pre-season clash in Australia. Spurs had 32 shots in a much-improved attacking display from that seen under Antonio Conte.

They conceded three goals against the Hammers, however, from just four shots offered up - showing the defensive frailties, particularly from set-pieces, that were there for all to see last year.

But, while defensive reinforcements are a necessity, getting players out of the door is also important, with many players facing uncertain futures in north London.

Here football.london takes a look at the players who could leave N17 before the Premier League season gets under way.

Hugo Lloris - The France captain openly admitted he was looking for a new challenge this summer and hoped Spurs would allow him to leave with one year remaining on his contract. Was left at home while Spurs went on their pre-season tour.

Japhet Tanganga - Has never been able to tie down a regular starting spot in the team under different managers and could leave to seek game time elsewhere.

Davinson Sanchez - The £42million signing from Ajax has never quite lived up to his billing at Tottenham and has been on the wrong end of supporters' derision.

Sergio Reguilon - Was first choice under Jose Mourinho, but was not favoured by Antonio Conte and spent last season on loan with Atletico Madrid, where he did not set the world alight, although did suffer with injury.

Joe Rodon - Spent last season on loan with French side Rennes and is a player Spurs will listen to offers from this summer.

Ryan Sessegnon - Currently injured. Has undergone surgery on a hamstring injury and is unlikely to return until after the transfer window has closed, but could make a move if he returns quicker than expected.

Djed Spence - Joined the club to lots of fanfare as an English talent, but Conte openly admitted he was a "club signing" and was not part of his plans. Was shipped out to Rennes on loan last summer

Ivan Perisic - A Conte signing, the veteran Croatian had a solid if unspectacular first season in the Premier League last year. Keen to move on and would be granted a move if the right offer came in.

Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - Wanted by Atletico Madrid. Under Postecoglou's system there is only one space for a defensive midfielder and competition for places is going to be strong.

Bryan Gil - Has a back injury and was left at home while his teammates went on the pre-season tour. Has missed a chance to make an impression on Postecoglou and could leave the club.

Giovani Lo Celso - Has undoubted talent and showed it with a fine second 45 minutes against West Ham in pre-season. If an offer comes in, Spurs would listen to it.

Tanguy Ndombele - The mercurial Frenchman is another with undoubted talent but has struggled to impart himself on Spurs since a £54million transfer. Could be reborn under Postecoglou in an attacking system, but could also be let go.
