Pep Guardiola has sent a bizarre dig at Arsenal after his Manchester City side drew 4-4 against Chelsea in a hugely entertaining Premier League clash on Sunday. The Citizens held the lead three times at Stamford Bridge but the west Londoners kept fighting back, with former City playmaker Cole Palmer equalising from the penalty spot five minutes into stoppage time as the points were shared on the capital.
The result leaves Guardiola's men one point ahead at the top of the table, with Liverpool in second, ahead of Arsenal on goal difference. Now, the Spaniard has referenced how both the Reds and the Gunners struggled when facing the Blues away from home, strangely criticising how the latter fared in their 2-2 draw last month.
"They are so dangerous, they are a really good team," Guardiola told Sky Sports when discussing Chelsea. "Liverpool could not win, Arsenal... they were much, much better than Arsenal and then at the end Arsenal draw.
"It's Chelsea away and the people believe so I'm not going to say what Chelsea have done to do what they are right now as a team. It's getting better, the teams they play they good.
"They have physicality, they have talent, they have speed, they have bench, they have a lot of things." Guardiola's comments are perhaps a testament to how far Arsenal have come over the last few years, clearly now considering them as a threat in the title race.

The former Bayern Munich and Barcelona boss previously used to heap praise on Mikel Arteta's side after defeating them with ease, even winning 5-0 when the two clubs met a little over two years ago. But the north London outfit got the better of City this term, securing a 1-0 win at the Emirates thanks last month to a Gabriel Martinelli deflected strike
