Leyton Orient will start and end their first season back in the Football League at home.

The fixtures for the 2019/20 League Two season have been released this morning (Thursday), together with the other EFL divisions; the Championship and League One.

And National League champions Orient have been handed a home start to the new season, with Cheltenham Town their opponents on the opening day on Saturday, August 3.

Orient, who this week named Ross Embleton as their interim head coach following the passing of manager Justin Edinburgh , will then travel to face Macclesfield Town the following weekend, before hosting Stevenage on Saturday, August 17.

The O's first midweek league clash of the season will be an away game against Mansfield Town on Tuesday, August 20, before Orient host Crawley Town on Saturday, August 24.

The first month of the new season is then rounded off with a trip to face Salford City, who gained promotion from the National League with Orient last season.

Leyton Orient will be at home on Boxing Day, when they host Colchester United, while the O's will travel to face Walsall on New Year's Day.

Orient will also be at home on the final day of the season, against Exeter City, on April 25, 2020.
