PSG star Kylian Mbappe has outlined his contract request if he joins a team on a free transfer this summer, according to a recent report. It comes as the forward continues to be linked with a move to Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Real Madrid as his contract continues to dwindle.
The forward has been rumoured with an exit from Les Parisiens for some time now, but those were put to bed as he signed a new deal with the club in summer 2022. That was claimed to be until 2025, but it was later revealed to be a two-year deal with an option to extend for an extra year.
That option landed on the side of Mbappe himself though, who later decided against triggering that extension, meaning he will be out of contract next summer. With a panic over that scenario, PSG moved quickly to attempt a new contract signing or a sale so he wouldn't leave on a free.
While that ultimatum was set, no deal was signed and a transfer elsewhere wasn't secured - that's despite the club agreeing a world-record fee with Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal. Mbappe was then frozen out of the first-team squad's pre-season tour in Japan as well as the opening game of the campaign.
With a transfer not in sight, he was reintroduced into the squad and has played ever since, but that contract expiry continues to edge closer. Arsenal have been outlined as one of the preferred options for the forward, while Chelsea continue to be linked despite their £1billion spend to this point.

Liverpool and Real Madrid are also in the frame and have been given a clear outline on the contract requests made by Mbappe for the summer. According to a report from AS, via SportWitness, Mbappe is asking for a yearly wage of €35million (£30.5million) after tax and a signing bonus of roughly €100million (£87million).
It's a huge ask for a player, however his calibre and availability on a free transfer could prove to be a smart piece of business for any team interested. It remains to be seen whether Chelsea or Arsenal will make their move, but they can start negotiating on a pre-contract as of January.
