Hansi Flick has announced the Die Mannschaft squad to represent Germany at the World Cup later this month. Chelsea forward Kai Havertz and West Ham defender Thilo Kehrer have both been selected as the 2014 champions look to reclaim the World title.

Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is the only other players in the Premier League to represent Germany at the World Cup. Former Blues defender Antonio Rudiger and Cobham graduate Jamal Musiala have both been selected and will likely play a key role in Qatar.

Former Arsenal winger Serge Gnabry has also been called up, as has former Manchester City talisman Leroy Sane. Germany begin their World Cup campaign on November 23 against Japan before facing Spain on November 27 and Costa Rice on December 1.

Though, before it all kicks off, Hansi's side have a friendly against Oman on November 16. Hansi has explained a number of decisions, including the omission of Borussia Dortmund centre-half Mats Hummels - a player who was central to his nation winning the World Cup in 2014.

The Germany boss said: "Mats is fully fit and in excellent form. But within the coaching team, we decided for a younger player [Bella-Kotchap]. The focus was more on the future."

On why Gotze has been called-up, Flick said: "He's a brilliant footballer who has flashes of inspiration. Mario has been playing at an extremely high level in the past few weeks. He had problems at the beginning, but now he's fully fit. He's really happy and we're looking forward to seeing him."

With that being said, the Germany squad is as follows.

Goalkeepers

Manuel Neuer (Bayern Munich), Marc-Andre ter Stegen (Barcelona) and Kevin Trapp (Eintracht Frankfurt).
