Mauricio Pochettino has made three changes to his Chelsea side for the trip to Tottenham. The Blues boss returns to face his former side for the first time since he was sacked in November 2019.

Reece James keeps his place in the team after making his first start since August against Blackburn and captains the side, while Thiago Silva returns to the starting lineup having been rested against the same opponents. Levi Colwill also comes back into the backline and looks set to feature at left back, while Axel Disasi partners Silva in the centre.

Moises Caicedo, Enzo Fernandez and Conor Gallagher form Chelsea's midfield for the first time since the Blues' draw with Arsenal.

Mykhailo Mudryk returned to training in the build up to the clash against Spurs but has only been deemed fit enough for the bench. That sees Nicolas Jackson once again lead Pochettino's forward line with support from Cole Palmer and Raheem Sterling on the flanks.

Armando Broja was in contention to be in the squad having suffered knee irritation since Chelsea's win over Burnley but has not made the squad, with youngster Deivid Washington once again with the group.
