Mauricio Pochettino will be hoping to return to winning ways on Saturday afternoon when Chelsea face Brentford at Stamford Bridge in what could be a fiery west London derby. The Blues head into the clash following a disappointing draw with Arsenal, but their four-game unbeaten streak remains firmly intact.

As for the Bees, Thomas Frank will be looking to build-upon an impressive 3-0 win over Burnley, with Yoane Wissa and Bryan Mbeumo back among the goals. Brentford enjoyed a bright start to the Premier League campaign, but suffered a rocky September and early October period.

With some big games on the horizon for either side, Pochettino and Frank will be desperate to pick up three-points this weekend. Chelsea must face Tottenham, Newcastle and Manchester City in their next five English top-flight games, while Brentford have West Ham, Liverpool and Arsenal on their hit-list.

So, with that being said, football.london have taken a look at five things which stood out in the latest collection of training pictures posted on the Fifth Stand App as the Blues get down to work at Cobham.

Mudryk chat

Mykhailo Mudryk was spotted enjoying a chat with his manager. Almost in awe of Pochettino, the winger looked engrossed in conversation as he looks to continue his rich vein of form.

Jackson update

Nicolas Jackson underwent a minor operation on his wrist during the international break. After returning to the matchday squad against Arsenal last weekend, he was back in training as normal with a wrist support on. The Senegalese star looks just fine which is a huge relief.

Ugochukwu heavily involved

While the club photographer might just be a big fan of Lesley Ugochukwu, the teenager featured in a lot of the training pictures. He was often at the heart of the action, which makes sense for holding midfielder, so maybe Pochettino has a special plan to integrate him into the starting lineup soon...

Sterling and Madueke battle

Raheem Sterling and Noni Madueke were both also pictured in training. The former has been superb for Chelsea this season, but the latter will be hoping for a chance to impress versus Brentford and take the right-wing role.

High spirits

All in all, the players and staff looked to be in great spirits with Pochettino often seen getting involved in the warm-up rondo drill. Lots of smiles were on display as Chelsea look to build upon a promising swing of momentum.
