Chelsea have the chance to go five unbeaten in all competitions for the first time since last October when they host Brentford in the Premier League on Saturday.

It's another London derby for Chelsea, this time against fellow west Londoners Brentford. The Blues drew 2-2 against Arsenal in their last outing, but Mauricio Pochettino will be frustrated his side didn't pick up three points after going two goals ahead against the Gunners.

The last meeting between the two sides ended in a 2-0 win to Brentford, with Chelsea winless against the Bees in their last three meetings. So, who could emerge victorious on Saturday?

Let's take a look.

We simulated Chelsea vs Brentford to get a score prediction

To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 24 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.

We predict that Chelsea could line up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Sanchez; Gusto, Disasi, Silva, Colwill; Enzo, Caicedo, Gallagher; Palmer, Jackson, Sterling.

We predict that the Bees could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Flekken; Roerslev, Collins, Pinnock, Hickey; Onyeka, Norgaard, Jensen; Mbuemo, Maupay, Wissa.

The clash didn't start the way Chelsea fans would've hoped, with Brentford controlling the first half at Stamford Bridge. Mathias Jensen opened the scoring after eight minutes with a looping header from a corner, and just before the break, the Bees went two goals ahead.

Bryan Mbuemo was sorting all sorts of problems for Chelsea, and the winger used his pace to latch onto Neil Maupay's lobbed through ball just outside the box. Mbuemo held off Thiago Silva's challenge before calmly sliding the ball past Robert Sanchez and into the far corner.

Pochettino introduced Mykhailo Mudryk, Armando Broja and Noni Madueke in the final 30 minutes as the Blues searched for a way back into the game. Mudryk missed two glorious chances as the pressure started to mount, and with nine minutes remaining, Chelsea were handed a lifeline.

Enzo Fernandez made it 2-1

As Broja looked to meet Mudryk's cross in the middle of the box, the striker was shoved from behind, with the referee awarding a penalty. Enzo Fernandez sent the 'keeper the wrong way to make it 2-1, but the Blues couldn't find a second as they fell to a tough defeat.
