Jorginho move eyed
Barcelona are weighing up making a move for Arsenal holding midfielder Jorginho, as per ESPN. The Italian international has struggled for consistent game time this season, finding himself behind club-record signing Declan Rice and versatile star Thomas Partey in Mikel Arteta's pecking order.
Now, La Liga champions Barcelona are said to be keen on the former Chelsea man, with Xavi claimed to have added him to his transfer shortlist as he seeks to recruit a new midfielder. The Catalan giants allowed both Sergio Busquets and Franck Kessie to depart the Nou Camp earlier this year before opting to sign Oriol Romeu from Girona.

Gabriel u-turn
Manchester United hero Rio Ferdinand has performed a pretty big U-turn on Arsenal defender Gabriel Magalhaes. Ferdinand singled out Gabriel and fellow centre-back William Saliba, hailing the way they dealt with Manchester City on Sunday. Speaking on his YouTube channel, the former England international said: "He (Saliba) and Gabriel’s partnership is really blossoming.
"I don’t think he does what he does without a good partner so you have to give Gabriel his flowers as well. He is the A-side in that partnership."
But Ferdinand hasn’t always been the biggest fan of Gabriel, previously revealing that the Brazilian international send him a private message following some criticism regarding his play-style. "I said that last year," he told his YouTube channel when asked if the Brazilian being dropped earlier this season was due to his past mistakes.
"And he didn’t like it. He DM'd me. In the DM's.
"This is a big thing, for me, with players today, they can’t take criticism. Players today, not all of them, I have had quite a few players who have come through their agents.

Striker signing
Liverpool hero Jamie Carragher and Manchester United legend Roy Keane have both argued that Arsenal need to sign a centre-forward during the January transfer window if they want to wish the Premier League title this term. Speaking on the Stick To Football Podcast, Carrafger said: "I don’t think Arsenal can win the league with the squad that they have got right now.
"I think they would need to add to it in January." Keane agreed with his fellow pundit's sentiment, claiming that Arsenal still lack physical players to get them through the tough games.
The United hero said: "They can win the league, but they do need a striker. "The players you are talking about coming in, gives Arsenal that physicality.
"It’s great when you watch a team that can play with the ball, but is also physically strong. You have seen City get stronger over the past couple of seasons, at set-pieces are huge.
"They need those physically strong players to get them over the line."
