Manchester City midfielder Rodri will be suspended for next month's Premier League clash against Arsenal. The Spanish international received a red card during City's 2-0 victory over Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon after holding Morgan Gibbs-White by the neck minutes after the second half had begun.
The Citizens star will now be unable to take on the Gunners at the Emirates Stadium in a few week s, a huge boost to Mikel Arteta's side considering how instrumental the talented holding midfielder is to Pep Guardiola's system. After the sending-off, plenty of Arsenal supporters rushed to social media, celebrating as they now reckon they have a greater chance of defeating their potential title rivals.
