Arsenal are one of the teams keen to sign Corinthians starlet Gabriel Moscardo, according to the Standard. Moscardo has attracted plenty of attention in recent times, establishing himself as one of the highest-rated young midfielders in Brazil.
The 18-year-old is said to have attracted interest from the Gunners, as well as Premier League rivals Chelsea and Liverpool, with the former seeing a €20million (£17.5million) proposal to sign the teenager rejected during the summer transfer window.
"There was a proposal from Chelsea months ago, but I talk a lot with my agent and my parents and they try to give me as little information as possible," the talented teenager said when discussing his future. "They say there is not long until the end of the season, they tell me to dedicate myself and do well, and that at the end of the season, there will be good things."
Speaking after a recent 1-1 draw with Atletico Minerio, he added: "To tell you the truth, I have very little information, my father knows a few things, he prefers not to tell me so as not to influence my head too much, to end up taking a little bit of my focus here, he says: ‘Here your focus is on Corinthians’. Let’s wait for the season to end, there are still a few games to go, and we’ll see what we can do.
"Of course there’s interest from various clubs, I’ve also heard about it, there was strong interest from Chelsea a few months ago, but if you stop to think about where I’m going now, at this moment, it’s not good. I want to help Corinthians now to get them out of this situation."

Moscardo, who is said to be valued at around £26million, has been compared to Arsenal record-signing Declan Rice, with Goal noting the similarities in play-style. The Gunners have a history of snapping up talented Brazilian youngsters, recruiting Gabriel Martinelli for just £6million from Ituano back in the summer of 2019.
The 22-year-old has gone on to become of the best left-wingers in Europe, netting 15 Premier League goals last term, a tally that reads even more impressive when you consider that none of those were from the penalty spot.
