Arsenal could be set to receive a new exit proposal for midfielder Thomas Partey in the January transfer window, if recent reports are to be believed. The Ghanaian international has been a key part of the team for Mikel Arteta since he joined from Atletico Madrid in 2020.

His ability to win the ball back out of possession has added a steely resistance to the side, but there have been concerns over his availability. Injuries have been a consistent issue for Partey that has kept him out of action during times where the side have needed him most.

That has become less of an issue over the past year, with the signings of Declan Rice and Jorginho lightening that burden of starting. Despite that investment, Partey's involvement so far this campaign has been limited as he has once again been struck with some injury worries.

The latest of which looks set to rule him out for over a month and potentially in to the new year as football.london understands he recently underwent a procedure to help the situation. It rules him out of a very important run of fixtures as questions appear over his future.

With just over a year left on his contract, there will be some huge decisions to make over the midfielder's future at the club. There continues to be interest in his services too, involving a following from Serie A giants Juventus that has spanned over the past few months.

According to a report from FootMercato, the Bianconeri are now preparing a transfer offer for the coming January window for Partey. It is claimed that the hierarchy of the club met with Partey in recent days with the hopes of making a loan bid for the remainder of the season.

It leaves Arteta with a huge decision to be made over the shape of his midfield going forward, as other options continues to be linked with an arrival.
